Abu Dhabi: Is it possible to produce more energy with building-integrated photovoltaics than is consumed in a huge fully air-conditioned villa?
The reduction of CO2 emissions is on everyone’s lips! It is necessary to act in order to reduce energy consumption in buildings on the one hand and to produce sufficient energy in the building envelope on the other.
The flat roofs of villas in the Middle East are rarely used. Often, you can find there only technical devices of air conditioning, instead of producing electricity there by solar systems.
Outside the summer season, there are also opportunities to create lounges on roofs or even to use the roof for farming, which is also possible under building law by means of canopies. Thanks to the sustainable thinking customer of MORE International, we were able to live out our creativity and create a solar system that not only looks attractive but actually produces much more energy than is consumed in the building. With this individual solar system with a total of 92.56 kWp installed power, the villa can even function as a filling station for 2 electric cars without having to buy electricity.
